Happy News

Well I found out that I was chosen for the Foreign Language Sterling Scholar at my school. I'm very excited. Also, my nephews blessing was on Sunday. He looked so cute in his outfit. I got to old him before and awww, I love him. If you want to see some cute pictures look at my sister-in-laws blog. It's on the right side and is called Tara and Kenny or something like that. So, life is good.
P.S. I can't wait for it to snow again. It's only snowed twice this winter and one was in September.

Yay Me!

Well, school started almost 2 weeks ago. It's been kind of fun to see everyone again. Some exciting things are happening, so here goes. I may be helping create the yearbook next semester, I have a tutoring job, and I got asked to homecoming!!!
Anyway, I'm pretty excited (if you couldn't tell;) So, that's my update. I'll post again soon.
P.S. Plus I'm going to be an Aunt in about 6 weeks! Life is good right now.

EFY!!!

I got back from EFY on Saturday. It was such an amazing experience. My company had 10 boys, 8 girls (including me) and our 2 counselors. Our group got along amazingly well, and quickly became good friends. Our session had about 150 participants, which is very small, and was the first one to be held in New Hampshire. We stayed at Plymouth University in Plymouth, NH.
Our session director was Brother Grossen. He was an amazing speaker and loved quotes-like me. Our session was so strong-I've never felt the spirit so much for such a long period of time. I felt like as though if we stayed there forever, I could be happy and content (although I'd probably miss my family.) It was so great to be myself without worrying I wasn't good enough. I didn't have anything to prove-I just got to live the gospel.
If anyone from my company is reading this I love you all and miss you terribly.

Tired of Summer

I know, I know, like anyone could be tired of summer. I must be weird. Anyway, I am ready to get my Senior year going. I miss having structure-I'm so lazy during summer.

I found out last Thursday that my sister-in-law is having a baby boy! She's due in October and we're all very excited. He will be my parents 1st grandchild.

As promised, here is my Sweethearts picture. It was on February 9, 2008. It was my first formal dance.

I took my first ACT on Saturday. Then I went to the Sweethearts dance with Jake Gibby. I'll post a picture as soon as I can. Anyway, just wanted to update you.

I just created this blog after seeing my sister-in-laws. It's going to be where you can catch up with me- especially now that school is getting harder. They always said Junior year was the hardest and now I'm experiencing it.
